Do you have to strip the seat down to just the plastic to recycle or can you drop off the whole seat? My local recycling facility only takes 1 and 2 plastics so we are really limited in what we can recycle.

I didn't see any metal on it the seat. We have bags we need to put stuff in to recycle it and I had to use two to go around it. It is going out tomorrow.
