Yeah, I agree Marcie. The top is alot more rounded than the origional and the hip area looks more narrow to me.

Ok so from the blog I got;
top harness slots are still about 17"
seat depth is about the same
shell height is the same
but rf to 40lbs....I'm so bummed :crying:
I think that the improvements are good and heading the right direction but still its simply not enough :twocents:

Which is odd because the Britax site has the specs of the seat being a bit bigger. I don't get it.

Ya, from the Britax site it did look like the seat was bigger but from the video blog it looks the exact same but with a few minor tweeks :hitselfonhead:

I'm hoping there is another slot that she didn't find but will after she comes back from her July 4 trip :)

Hey! Are you doubting my top-slot-finding abilities? :p

Sorry but no such luck - it's pretty easy to tell if it's all the way up when you're looking at the frontier-like track on the back of the shell.

I'm hoping to install it tomorrow morning before it gets sweltering hot and I'll post pics on the blog comparing DS2 (6 years, 50 lbs and 47" tall) in the MA70 and the Decathlon. Stay tuned to the blog for more updates over the next few days.

Argh! I was led to believe the top harness slots would be just as high as the Radian :(

They are the same height already, both are 17", Radian just lets kids spread out more so they don't push up to the top slot so soon, I think the bowl shape of the new MA70 will do the same thing. At least I'm HOPING it will :eek:
