hi!
my DD will be 8 months old this week, and is currently 14lb 11oz and 26" long. she is currently RF (OBVIOUSLY!!) in a Combi Coccoro in my Nissan Versa. in daddy's car (old honda civic), she is RF in a Peg Perego Primo Viaggio infant seat, which will expire this november.
read: Mommy gets to buy a new car seat!!!!

i would like to get a mini van in the next 2 or 3 years, and my husband may also get a 4 door truck in the next one year.

can anyone tell me what seat they would suggest and why?
THANkS!

if it was a higher weight seat (65+lbs) and nice height limit, i would probably buy anything!! DH would love to hear this is her "last" car seat. however, since she is small for her age, that is why i bought the coccoro, and i think it is a great fit for her for now. so it doesnt have to be her last seat either.
so anything goes as far as $$

**carseats are the new handbag!!**

Nothing you buy now will be her last carseat. If you got one that had a nine year lifespan (which are only forward facing right now) that'd still only get her to not yet 10. She'd need at least a backless after that. If you got her a Radian, with an eight year lifespan, she'd probably still outgrow it around 6-7, and need a high back booster. If you get her a Symphony now, she'll need a high back booster after that. So she'll need *something* later. Though probably just a dedicated booster, which can range from $40-$250 or so.

well the Radians are nice but i am not sure about how it would fit in your car, my sister drives the same car and her complete air just fit, hopefully someone will chime in on that. A radian should get her to booster age and then be passed down to another child. The radian is narrow, and you could probably fit two passengers in the back with her if needed. You could also give this one to your DH when she outgrows the corocco, get your self a new seat, and DH would have one that RF tethers, which i personally really prefer in a truck because of the big glass windows right behind the seats. This seat is great IF it instals right in your car.

you could also get one of the new marathons, cute covers, also rf ththers, easy to instal just about anywhere, but it doesn't have the harness height that the radian does.

You could also get a true fit premeir, and use it with out the headrest for now, but it is wide and only rf's to 35 lbs

there is also the complete air, a nice seat, but no rf tethering, nice and tall, instals fine in your car.

lots of options!
