The consignment store I used to work at sells used car seats. When I worked there I was very adamant that all consignors fill out a 'car seat checklist' (no accidents, all parts there, etc). Well, it came to my attention that they're now telling consignors that it's okay to not bring in their manual with it. Their thinking is that all manuals are online so if the person buying it wants it, they can print it up themselves. They were having too many car seats in the backroom that they couldn't put out because they were waiting on manuals for them. They figure the faster they can get them on the floor the better. Anyway, does anyone know of any liability issues that might come up about not having the manual?
