Graco comes out with a SWING for the carseat!!

Someone posted this before. I have to say that i like it because when the twins were little and we would go out and when we got back they would be sleeping and they would both would want to eat if they woke up so i would have to feed one and rock the other ones seat with my foot so he would not wake up. Other than that i do think kids are in their seats too much

lmfao..me and my DH were JUST talking about something like this and how great it would have been for aleah (she wouldnt ever sleep anywhere but her carseat or her swing, and always wanted to be moving...that is funny

This would be perfect for the days I watch my great-nieces...the youngest is 3 months...I had to buy a baby swing off Craig's List since I'd already given away all my infant stuff. Actually, two swings, because the first one worked for about one day. :) And I bought her a Graco Snugride because I couldn't find another base for her Portabout infant carseat (thanks a lot, Evenflo, for discontinuing that model). :( Oh, and a Scenera for her big sis!

While I strongly agree that a lot of infants spend way too much time in their seats, I'd love to get one of these.
Back when dd#1 was born in '96, I had a swing with a removable seat/carrier, and it was SO nice to be able to just grab it off the swing if she fell asleep and not risk waking her by taking her out, especially if it had been one of THOSE nights, kwim? ;)

I wouldn't use it as my every day swing but it is a great idea. And i think they should say something about it not being used all the time and to move the baby around
