I need your help. I am in Australia so can not go into a shop to look at these seats. I am after a FF seat that goes from internal harnessed to booster seat till hopefully around 10years old. So something like a frontier or nautilus. What is the best seat to get. DD is 4 years old 40lbs and 41 inches. She is growing out of her Australian seat so would appreciate you telling me what you think I should do.

Either one would probably be fine for you. The frontier is trickier to install, but it does have other advantages. Some people prefer one and some people prefer the other. It's too bad you can't try them first to see what you like!

Here's a quick rundown of some of the differences:

Frontier
*higher top harness slots
*roomier crotch buckle (maybe more of an issue for boys)
*makes a higher highback booster (hbb)
*installation can be tricky
*9 year expiration (entire seat)
*sale prices around $180-$200

Nautilus
*also can be used as a backless booster
*6 year expiration for harness and hbb (9 yrs for backless booster)
*some users report "head flop" when kids sleep
*more selection of girly fabrics
*sale prices $125-$150
