Marathon question

My DD turned 3 in March, she is 35 pounds and has plenty of room with her straps in the top slots...problem is she is getting scrunched for shoulder room. Is this a common problem for MAs? What do I do about it? Had I known this would be an issue I would not have spent the $$ on 2 MAs for her!!

The MA is narrower in the shoulders than some other seats. As long as she's not sitting sideways it's not a safety concern.

Here's a picture of my DD shortly after she turned 3.

She's 4.5 now and still calls the MA her 'comfy' seat even though she has much more room and doesn't look so squished in her Frontier.

Thats almost exactly how she fits. Its like her shoulders are pushed forward. Oh boy, does this mean I am going to be buying 2 new seats in the next year? DH is going to have a heart attack, I was able to talk him into the MA because of the weight limit and she has only been in it less than a year and a half :(

Is she complaining? If she is then what you can do is sell both of the MA on craigslist to fund 2 new Graco Nautilus. The GN has a lot more room
