    NHTSA ease of use ratings

I didn't know if anyone had ever linked these before but I thought they were pretty interesting.

LMAO. I wonder who installs them and rates their ease of use? Certified techs? Average parents? In what vehicles? Or on test benches?

I think these ratings are useless.

Re: NHTSA ease of use ratings

OMG, I found these a couple years ago and I was dumbfounded. Who the heck tests this supposed "ease of use"? I don't think they actually installed them in a real vehicle. They base part of the rating on the instructions and labels. They consistantly rate Evenflo seats as easy to install. The only two I can get installed easily are the Triumph and the Chase. The Titan draws blood and the Embrace is a joke. IMO, the ratings are useless.

I would like to point out that they give the Graco Treasured Cargo an "A" for securing the child. The Treasured has rear harness adjustors. How is that easy?
