I have dd2 in both seats. The pics were taken about a year apart but she didn't grow that much. The EFTA is rf and the Maestro is of course ff. Not sure if this helps

Do you mean comparing the EFTA to the EF Momentum? Those two seats are much more alike than the EFTA and Maestro.

Does the Maestro push the head forward? It seems like it in the above picture as well as other pics I've seen of it.

No it doesn't. There is a removable pillow that would push the head forward, but once it's removed it doesn't push the head forward. The back is flat, unlike the nautilus where the headrest sticks out further than the seat. I don't have any pics of kids in it, but we haven't had any head forward problems or head slump with it. My sis has used with my niece who is only 15 months (her choice not to erf) and she fits very well. My nephew who is 3 prefers it over the nauti.

No, it did not seem to push the kid's heads forward at all. From the pic. I posted it does seem like she's leaning forward  Here is a pic. of it installed, you can see how flat the back is...like Spam said.

Nope. I'm just thinking ahead b/c DD recent growth spurt has me wondering if she'll make it till 5 in the EFTA. So having a back up plan if she is not ready for a booster FT when that happens. So I thought about the Maestro since it's an inexpensive seat to keep her EH.
