How to approach someone??

There is a new family at our daycare with a baby about 9mo...she was in a bucket when they started, but I noticed they got her a new seat....a Nauti.

I've said hello to this woman one time, and she was not very friendly. I soooo want to say something to her, but don't know how to go about it. I'm debating waiting until I'm recertified (6/29) and getting some flyers to leave at daycare...in particular....HER CAR. We pick up around the same time.

Yikes... I had a family that I nannied for turn their 8 month old in their car. My approach was just to say "I'm worried about "child" and thought you should have this information on why he/she is safer rear facing". Then I handed them brochures, info sheets, websites, etc :)

A lot of this is happening at the day care I work at.

I'm talking to my director about maybe having a "tech-day" and having a tech or two from this site come out and offer to do checks and give suggestions when they pick up or drop off. We're also working on getting some fliers/brochures up near the sign-in desk.

she was not very friendly.

Are you good with confrontation? I am not. If someone yells at or gets PO'ed at me, my legs turn to jello and I will shake for an hour. :p I don't say anything anymore unless it's a seat check event. :(

I'd be more likely to leave a not on the car. Type something up ahead of time and then leave them on ALL the cars (make sure she doesn't see you) so it won't look like you're singling her out.
