When I put Kaitlin in and tighten the straps the metal lever thing that the pull strap runs through (I'm sure it has a name but I can't think of it!) stays up. This has only been happening in the last few days that I've noticed and I have remembered to push it back down. Yesterday dh put her in her seat and didn't notice, so she rode a while with the lever up and not locking the straps. There isn't anything stuck in there, I've taken the seat out and looked. Has anyone else had this happen? Oh, and we do loosen and tighten every time, it's just easier that way for us.

I saw it happen to someone's RN...and I think it was getting stuck on the vehicle seatback. I think it's happened to my borrowed RN, and it wasn't stuck on anything.

I will call on Monday, and until then no one else will put her in the seat and we won't use it much. It happens when the seat is uninstalled so the harness is not getting stock on anything. There is a small amount of fuzzies on the adjuster strap, but imo that should not keep the lever from going back down on it's own as it isn't much.
