FIXED!
I used my stepdaughter's 20 lb snugride for Oliver when he was an infant (was not expired then). I was surprised when he outgrew it by height at 9 months because he is very short.
Oliver is now 14 months. I put him in a friend's Snugride 22 yesterday and realized how much bigger the 22 is! I think there is still 1 inch above his head, so he would have made it to 12 months if we had the Snugride 22!
I didn't realize there was such a difference between the two models. I am glad they made the 22 a bit taller.
