So, those RA50 lock offs on Britax's website...

...were indeed too good to be true. I talked to a Britax csr and she confirmed that it is a mistake, you cannot add these lock offs since there are no holes for them in the RA50. She said they should be removing that from the website.

But there are holes on the RA50, they have black plugs in them. I didn't measure between the holes and I don't feel like un-packing or un-installing any seats right now. So feel free to tell me I'm wrong. I never took the foam out so its possible the holes don't go all the way through.

ETA: Yes, Stacy and Britax are right, I only saw the one black plug and assumed there where 2 and didn't check the other side. Oh well, I guess I knew I was wrong when I first posted. lol

My RA50 (DOM 3/10) has a hole on one side but that's for a plug on the inside that attaches the instructions to the seat, and the other side there's nothing. I took the bottom foam out and looked inside just to be sure. It's solid.

The csr at first thought I was talking about the 40lb RA and said they were ok, but when she realized it was the RA50 she said yes, that it was just a mistake, they can't be added to it.

I really wanted to put this in my car, but I really hate using the ALR, and forget the locking clip. I guess it goes in my mom's car instead. I only wish it weren't so....:(
