Just letting anyone know that needed one, I was looking on ebay this morning and there is a brand new in box britax laptop for 15.99.

I emailed that person and they said the DOM was sometime in 2001 I had her check the laptop for the date. If that is the case then it would be expiring real soon. She also stated that when she received them it was brand new in 2004, but they stopped making them in 2002. I'm sure they are new in the box but they still expire after 6 years whether they have been used or not. Is that right???

Yes, this is true. They were discontinued in 2002 so the last ones made would only be good until mid-2008.
I may be in a month or so, I need to get a tether anchor installed in dh's car, parts are on order but no word when they will be in. Then I need to save enough money for a Safeguard Go and after it arrives I'll be glad to part with mine.
