Which seat would you use?

My mom is arriving today and will be here for 5 days. We often drive her car when she's around so I'd like to keep a seat in her car while she is here. I'm trying to decide which seat to put in her car for DS1. He's about 44 lbs and 44 inches tall. I can put in our new Frontier but it doesn't install particularly easily. I was thinking of using our new RA50 that I bought for DS2 but I wasn't planning to use it for FFing. The seat would be top tethered. Would you have an issue putting a bigger kid in an RA50?

I would use the ra50 with no qualms provided your child fit in the harness. I was involved in a high speed crash with my then 42lb 4y/o in a tethered MA. The point of impact was at liddie's seat but she did not have a scratch. I will continue to use my Britax seats ffing with no concerns.
