At the end of the month we will be taking a trip back to my hometown in NW Wisconsin...it's a looong drive. DS is at the age where he likes something interesting to stare at for a short while but doesn't have the coordination to hold/grasp for an extended period of time, or pick it up if it's in front of him.
What types of toys have you used for a baby - have you attached them to something? I've been trying to think of what would be good to bring along. All of his toys are soft and light, but riding in a convertible with the ARB against the backseat, I don't know if there's a safe way to secure the toys somewhere for him. He has a few small soft wrist rattles which I suppose would work.
For this trip DH and I will likely trade off sitting in the back seat, but it would still be useful when I'm driving alone with him around town.
Thoughts?
