cheap combo or booster seat suggestions

This is actually in response to my previous thread about identifying my sister's seat
http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=129484

I think I'm just going to either order something online for her and just have it sent to her or send her a gc for a new seat. Her DD is 3 yrs and 42 lbs. I'm not sure of her height, but she's outgrown the harness in her current seat (we're thinking maybe the cargo or scenera). I'd really like to not have her in a booster for obvious reasons, but I'm not sure if dear sis would put her in anything else. I could send a harnessed one, but she may just use it in booster mode. So I'm looking for something that would work well in booster mode for smaller kids.

The Evenflo Mastero would probably work well. It certainly doesn't make a tall booster but it seems to fit smaller shorter kids okay in booster mode. It does harness until 50 pounds and hopefully your sister would keep it in harness mode.

If your budget is bigger the Graco Nautilus would be great, but it isn't cheap, IMO.

Can you ask your sis what she would use? Maybe say you just found a great deal on a harnessed seat that you just can't pass up but you're wondering if she would use the harness? If she refuses I'd probably just go with a TB.

I'm thinking what I might do is order it online and have it delivered to her. I'm really bad about remembering birthday's and such, so I might just say this should cover a few that I've missed. :) She's pretty willing to take advice from me since she knows I'm so passionate about car seats. I figure if I can find a cute pink 'girly' one that her DD might be more willing to use the harness (big sis might be jealous). :) Hey, maybe I could get 2 of whatever I decide on. One for big sis (same weight as the little one), so they could both be in one. :)

I think the girliest the maestro gets is one with pink piping. Otherwise, you'r looking for a steal of a deal on a nautilus.
