So I guess I'm just looking for any advice on the following situation cause I'm not sure what to do now.
The headrests in my car do not move so the TB does not fit properly. There's always a gap between the back of the booster and the back of the car seat. Many of the techs on this board agreed that it wasn't too big of a deal. So when the TBs were on sale I bought a Lets Go. So I had to unexpectedly transport a 6 year old a few times Sat. We put together the TB. He helped me with the screws and was very excited about the star where his head goes. He sat almost perfectly in it while we went all over town. However, I'm probably keeping him after school for a few days to a week and we need to run lots of errands. I decided this justified the purchase of a vivo if Big Lots still had any. They did but only in Blush. But whatever. It fits in my car better so I felt better. Kiddo is not so happy. It doesn't have a star and he keeps leaning his head out of the headrest. He tries to lean around it to see. We talked and he did sit correctly but he was almost in tears. He was bored and just looked very sad. And still was out of position sometimes but went right back with a warning.
So now what????? A TB that doesn't exactly fit my car but that kiddo will ride in correctly. Or a vivo that fits my car but that kiddo won't ride in very well. And I have to keep checking him which is making me a distracted driver. I'm lost. (And sad cause we both miss the TB).
