But of course, the way Dorel works things, it's going to be 10+ years before NHTSA can force a recall of these things (like that last recall they just had of long-expired seats).

Scary, huh? :( I'm glad BRU stopped carrying those over a year ago...

I checked out the other thread (thanks!). That's pretty amazing that so many have gotten through with this 'defect'. The only reason I found it was because we got one at our consignment store yesterday and I was looking up prices. I'm definitely going to make sure this isn't one with an issue before we put it out. Scary...
