For distributing to people, I really like the free booklet you can order from USAA (here is the PDF version: http://www.usaaedfoundation.org/pdf/544.pdf). It has a lot of proper use/misuse pictures in it which is really handy.
To get it, go to: http://www.usaaedfoundation.org/
Select the "Order Publications" link at the top of the form.
Select publication "544 - Installing Child Safety Seats"
You can order up to 100 brochures at a time and they are free.

It doesn't go into extended rearfacing or extended harnessing though. If you need more info on specific topics, you can print off one or more of the below links and stick them in the booklet:

Extended Rearfacing Info:

Extended Harnessing Info:

Boosters are for big kids:

i was kinda looking for something that has pictures of installations, the 1 inch rule and where the chest clip should be. that kind of thing. if i just hand them a piece of paper with a bunch of words they are the type to just toss it.

The USAA booklet has a lot of pictures in it (http://www.usaaedfoundation.org/pdf/544.pdf). Whenever I have requested it, the brochures came within 2 weeks. Are you wanting something that isn't so long?

Not trying to highjack this thread, but does anyone know of any brochures with pictures in Spanish? I did look at the brochures that MomtoEliEM mentioned, but wanted something with pictures too. Kind of like the one from USAA Educational Foundation, but in Spanish.
