The Simpson GN...

Do you have a Simpson/Gavin Nautilus? Anything you don't like about it? The seats in my siggy are current. We're thinking of replacing the MA with the GN when one of the older boys reaches the 35# weight limit of their RNs and giving the "baby" one of the RNs to ride in. Since its not a seat you can buy at a brick and mortar (from what I can find) I wanted to check around before ordering.

Aside from it being a basic Nautilus with Simpson labeling for $229.95?

It's not even based on the Elite version with cushier padding and adjustable headrest, which sells for ~$200.

WalMart has Matrix for $135.54 on rollback, plus a $10 Walmart egift card.

For that matter - the [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Britax-Frontier-Combination-Booster-Rushmore/dp/B0038W0JI0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=baby-products&qid=1275881979&sr=1-2"]Britax Frontier 85[/ame] is on sale at Amazon for $237.99.

LOL, I was totally picturing Bart and Lisa on a Nautilus. Now THAT would be cool. (And achievable for a few bucks with patches...)

This is honestly the first car seat my husband has EVER been excited about. With three boys and more kiddos in our future (hopefully!) this seat with be with us for a while. I live most of my life being frugal and seeing how to save our family money... this is one thing I want to splurge on :)

Have you seen the all-black one at BRU? (Breaker)

I agree that the SImpson looks nice. I just can't see paying basically double the price for a very similar seat (Matrix vs Simpson)

Breaker is nice, but I am just diggin' the fact that it's a "race car" seat.

I, too, would splurge for something like this.

Do they sell the cover separately? Me wants!
