Older Evenflo On My Way seats...

Back in 2002 when I started fostering I had a couple of Evenflo On My Way seats. (they were affordable and I needed more than one) Well, one day when I was out at the mall I had the handle pop out of place on me. I had a 1 1/2 yr old and an 11 week old in the double stroller, so that left me carrying the 10 lb - 11 week old twin in her car seat. I was pushing the stroller and had the car seat hanging on my elbow. (Not ideal but the only option we had at the time, all 3 were a sibling group, so a package deal.) Anyway, Evenflo sent me a replacement seat, the Osh Kosh model, but it wasn't long before the handle popped out of place again. I am just wondering if you all remember this happening or was I the only one this happened to? And if it was a bigger issue with the seats, what did Evenflo eventually do about it?

Just curious, thanks.

I remember that recall, this was much later than that. The seats couldn't have been older than 2001. The arm of the handle popped out (the round part) right where the handle connected to the seat itself. I guess I was the only one who had this problem. I was just surprised to have it happen 2 seats in a row, and with a tiny baby.
