Interesting, especially given how clueless most people are about proper carseat use. Makes me wonder why the bill's sponsor is coming from that he thinks it is important.
City Hall would be responsible for maintaining a list of certified seat installers – both private and not-for-profit – that people could access via a phone number or web site. That information would be posted on signs displayed near where child safety seats are sold in stores, and the signs also would include child seat guidelines, according to the proposal.
