Talk about misuse

Someone on a different parenting board posted a picture of an 8 month old in a booster seat. I would post the picture here, but I'm not sure if I should since it's obviously not my child and I don't have permission. It is the most shocking picture of misuse I've ever seen. He's basically 100% unrestrained, this might be a case where the kid would actually be safer in his mom's arms, since at least in a very minor crash she could still hold him while in this case he is going to fling out of the seat no matter what.

Good call on not posting the picture here.

Is there an avenue for you to point out ANYTHING about this misuse; FF minimums, booster minimums (can you tell what booster?) etc?

Does she have older children?

I would guess that she is just trying to create drama. Especially if she is a fairly new member. Some people just like to push buttons and get others riled up.

Knowing the message board I can see this happening. But this is her only child so far. So at the very least she had to go out of her way to get the booster. I'm not sure what seat it is but it's an Evenflo HBB.

I sent her a PM through the board and I'm sure by now she's been flamed to all creation on the board. I really hope she was just trying to start drama, but I didn't get that sense from the post. Hopefully, someone gets through to her.
