Snap N Go problems with carseat

My Baby Trend Snap N Go that I bought for my new KF has been scratching the plastic on the side of my KF. The papers that come with the seat say that the Snap N Go and my KF are compatible but I can't see how the scratches are good for the seat. The stroller is scratching the seat on the side where the stroller's red holders stick out to hold the seat up. I'm wondering of some scrapes in the side of the plastic of the seat mean I shouldn't use my brand new KF anymore? I've stopped using the red pieces that hold up the seat now as they are not totally necessary. Any thoughts?

Mine is the same as in the above link except I have two red holders on each side of the poles that lead up to the handles.

Cosmetic scratches wouldn't bug me, personally, unless the labels were ripping off and making me unable to resell the seat. Deep scratches and dents in the belt path or where the connectors on the side of the seat are would concern me, though. You might want to contact baby trend with your concern, though, I wouldn't actually *expect* their product to scratch my seat when it's claiming compatibility!

It is scraping off the stickers but I think I can use the stroller without using those tabs. The stickers are still legible but I can see having to give a concession on price when I sell the seat. Oh well. I doubt they'll offer to buy me a new seat. At least it is still safe to use. Thanks!
