replace the parkway?

We have an old style parkway that will expire next year(manufactured 2005), my 7 year old who is 46 in tall and 42 lbs sits in it about 2x a month in his dad's car. When I was vacuuming out the car I moved it and broke the foam on one of the head wings.

SOOOO should I order the $9 replacement foam or should I just buy a new booster of some sort?

That $9 replacement foam will probably come out to $20 with shipping. I personally would not invest $20 in a booster with less than a year of life left, unless I needed it for a tight three-across or some other situation.

Is it not OK to tape the foam? Assuming it was a clean brake and a piece of packing tape will put it back together??.....Will that get her by for the next year until it expires?

Yes it is okay to tape the foam. If it can't be taped do you have swap access? I'd first post an ISO maybe someone has foam they can send you.

Also if you have swap access you can sell the cover and use that money to go toward a new seat.

I'm thinking of replace my parkway as well because the back sometimes doesn't stick but haven't figured out with what yet so I can't send you my foam. lol

I think I will just tape it, never thought about that being ok, it is a clean break on the corner. So that buys me a year to find a new seat that I LOVE... thanks!
