Wow, small torso! (My third would have fit by 2 weeks... I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum!)

He is the cutest thing!! Ya, I really don't like him in the CA at all. I bet he'd look perfect in a MyRide or Radian though

As a follow up to my other post, dd yelled out from behind me "THAT'S where babys' are supposed to be!"
hahahahahah

MY ds was about a year old before he truly fit into a CA.

I'd feel absolutely safe with that, he's clearly not going to ramp up or out any amount.
Cute babe :).

I thought they measured about 10.5? Am I confused? A little higher than the Britaxes? And some Dorel slots are lower-- the Scenera is only 9.

That's what I was thinking, but didn't want to say it. With all that massive amount of shell above his head, it'd be impossible for him to ramp out. Now if it was the top slot, or any other slot for that matter, of course I wouldn't be okay with it. But with all the shell above his head? I'd use it if I had to. :twocents:

FWIW, European countries allow (maybe require?) straps to be above the shoulders for both FF and RF.

True, but I don't like where the crotch buckle is. Its just too high for my comfort level :twocents:
I'd love to see the comparison pic. of him in his Symphony!

he is still in the symphony, so no big deal, DD was being turned at 4.25yr and I was just seeing if he was ready or not. She can use the CA FF for now until he grow into it.

But yea the scenera is definitely lower. I do not like it but I think he needs to be moved up in his scenera to second slots, they are much less above his shoulders, but on the bottom slots the shoulder straps do not stay on him at all. He is less then an 1/8in away from the second slots in his scenera more upright then the CA and needs the second slots there.

As far as the CA I just tried him in it again today, he must have on shoulder taller then the other. His right shoulder is right there just almost level if not level, but the left is so not even there.

With out the infant insert in the symphony the crotch buckle is like that there too, that is why even though it is hot in the seat that way and warm out now, I still refuse to take it out.
