Which Isofix style car seat for newborn/infants?

We moved to the Netherlands from Canada and are expecting the baby #2 in September.
Our car is Toyota Yaris Verso (2003 I think).

We are still *illegally* using a Britax Marathon we brought for our kid #1. We didn't know that is illegal here in the Netherlands/EU before we visited this site! :(

After reading posts here, we are planning to get a Britax Two-Way for our kid #1 and, when he outgrows the Two-Way, a Britax Adventure for him.

Now, we need a car seat for our #2.
We'd like to be able to have a third person sit in the middle. So, the seat should be not too wide.
We also like to get an infant ISOFIX seat. We liked the convenience of carrying the #1 when we went out.

So, here is our question:
Which infant ISOFIX style seat would you recommend for us? Britax/Romer Babysafe Plus, Maxi Cosi CabrioFix or BeSafe (if BeSafe which style?)?

Thank you in advance for your suggestions!

I had a BabySafe and *loved* it.. Probably my favourite infant seat ever. However--I can't compare to the others, since I've never actually used them. The things about the BabySafe that I liked were the footprop and rigid LATCH (ISOFIX) on the base, as well as the blue beltguide on the rear allowing use of the shoulderbelt when installing baseless. It's also great for three across. The North American version did say handle down, but last time I read the European manual it showed the seat being installed with the l/s belt and the handle up, so I'm thinking it's okay? If that's the case, the handle should stay out of the way of a rear-facing Two-Way--leaving room for a third person. Maybe. :)

Hopefully somebody with more European infant seat experience will post--but I did have to mention my love for the BabySafe.

I have a Maxi Cosi Cabrio and love it :) I dont have isofix in my car, so I dont use the base for it, just wrap the seat belt around, super quick and easy :) Its really light to carry and I have the adapters so it fits on my bugaboo. They also come in lots of pretty colours :)

Maxi Cosi Cabrio is very popular in Europe, it's a great seat. Another alternative would be to get a DuoLogic which is made by Akta/Graco. This seat can be installed both with Isofix and seat belt, it's approved 0-18 kg

DuoLogic has a different construction and consist of an Isofix base and a "bucket seat" which slides into the Isofix base. The seat is therefore pretty much the only larger rear facing which is a good fit for a newborn. It will last from birth to around 4 years for "normal" kids.

When baby is small the head support is not needed and you are basically using a regular infant seat with Isofix. As the child grows head support is added and the seat last a few more years. It's a compact seat so it will fit nicely in small to midsize cars such as Opel Corsa, Ford Fiesta, VW Golf, etc.

In case you want to keep Isofix base installed in your car but occasionally use only the infant seat part it can be used separately. This could be handy if you want to quickly put the infant seat in a friends car. It's then installed only with seat belt, like a regular infant seat, and is approved 0-13 kg, head of baby is allowed to top of seat shell.

The seat is of course approved for Europe, ECE R44. Ooops, almost forgot. It's the most narrow rear facing seat over here as well at 42 cm.
