Harmony high back booster and other booster questions

Where oh where did they go? I was trying to decide if I should get my nephew the Turbo or the Harmony and the Harmony is not on Walmart.com anymore. I guess it's the Turbo!! It has to be Walmart because I have a gift card there. Is there anything else cheapish that is any good? Pronto or Big Kid? The Compass doesn't position the belts good, right?

I posted before and had some answers but can't find it now. He's almost 5, 44ish inches, 50 pounds riding in an expired, not good fitting booster. I don't know what their car is. Some kind of smallish SUV, maybe early 90's Jimmy(?). He rode in my ds' Monterey one time and fit great and in his Regent just below the second to top slot, same as my 5 year old dd. The Cosco Pronto made the "best bets" list. The Turbo is only a "good" bet. I think the Big Kid and the Compass were on the "other" list, along with the Monterey. I saw a Compass in real life and it looked nice and sturdy. Does it not position the belts well? I could just go with the Pronto. It is the cheapest.
Are there any special rules about seat backs or anything with the Pronto? Big Kid? Compass? Thanks.

The Pronto requires vehicle support to the child's ears.

I would not put too much stock in the IIHS ratings. They measured how the seats fit the 6yo crash test dummy. I think the child in question is shaped differently than the dummy.

The Compass does not position belts well on most kids.

I would just get the Turbo but I know they come apart easily and my SIL would just ditch the back rather than putting it back together all the time. What about the Big Kid?

I'd avoid the big kid - it just FEELS flimsy, and is short besides.

If you have a Big Lots near you, they may still have a few Recaro Vivos in stock. Mine had a half dozen of them last week, for $65.

I'll definitely check into that. That would be awesome. Thanks. Yeah, I played with the boosters at Walmart and Target last night and just wasn't impressed with any of them. They just don't compare to the Monterey I bought my ds!!
