So...the ProSport is up on Recaro's site (preliminary info of course), it boasts a 90lbs harness limit for children up to 50" tall and a booster limit to 120lbs and 59" tall, It looks like a nice seat, I hope it lives up to those stats cuz if it ends up with the same 17" harness height I'm gonna scream, I've been wanting a Young Style for years and never bought one because of the 40lb limit.

Young Sport. The Young Style was their booster before the Vivo. No harness.

If the harness is high enough I would be vaguely tempted to get one for Piper. LOL I love the look of their seats. They look so comfortable.

90# and 50"? I'm glad that it will be available for kids who need it, but hopefully there won't be too many.

My 8yo is 50" and 60# and she's not a skinny kid (she's not fat, but she is quite solid and has inherited my bubble butt). She would not be healthy with thirty extra pounds.

Im just glad it looks like the original! I wanted it to be like my current one, I just needed more height. Hopefully it's still super easy to install. This most likely will be Sophie's seat when she goes FFing (she's pretty much maxed out the harness of the YS)

It looks like a neat seat even if the weight limit is unrealistic. I won't be buying because I don't need it. It may be a good combo seat to recommend for shorter torsoed kids. My kids don't need any higher than a 17 inch harness height and there are many like them.

I like the looks of it. The harness limit is pretty unrealistic, probably much like the 70lb limit on the recaro convertibles. I would rather have too high of a limit than too low.

Oh, oh Britax! They're not gonna have the highest harness weight for a regular car seat anymore! They better start working on something new. Do companies make these ridiculous high weight limits for bragging rights or something???? I mean, I won't discourage them but most people would not buy the product so why spend the money making it?

::sigh:: Just when I have all the car seats I'll ever need for DS. I've wanted one of these for soooooo long!!! But they took too dang long to up the weight limit.

Oh well, better luck next time around.

ETA: Just going over the links on their site...The vivo/vivo lite are now listed under "retired products"???

Man, I realize I'm tired and grumpy and complainy in general tonight, but that website was not helpful! Let's see some decent pictures! Sheesh. And that ProRIDE convertible looks like it's straight out of Russia. I don't know. I love Recaro's fabrics, so they're gonna have to wow me with plush to overcome the clunk.

It looks like the lapbelt guides are slightly different - more like the Combi Kobuk with arms instead of Recaro's odd notches.

Can't wait to see a bigger picture!

I'd really like to know the top harness height. IF it's still 17" I'll be sad and A will end up with fr85 when he outgrows the mr. I  the look and feel of recaro's seats.

I hope it is narrower than the FR85. i would love to have another option for Ds.

I also love the look of the Recaro seats!
