Question 2 Graco Snugride 35s in 98 Camry LE

Was wondering if anyone knew if Snugride 35s could fit side-by-side in this type of car (for infant twins, of course) or if they have to both go outboard. Thanks!

My sister has a 96 (or might be a 98 model) Camry and when the twins were first born, I think she had the snugrides side-by-side (she liked to sit on the passenger side in the back). Her snugrides might have been the 22lb version though as the twins are 6 years old now. When her third child came along, she had a difficult time figuring out a new seating arrangement for 3 across (she had 2 marathons at the time) and swapped out the two marathons for radians and was able to get the two radians outboard and the snugride in the middle.

Hopefully someone here might have experience with the 35lb snugrides in the older model Camry vehicles.

i dont know how the fit would be first hand but the SR35's take up more space side to side, mostly due to how far the handle sticks out compared to SR22's.

i suppose one could try a side by side using an installation with a base in the middle (which would raise the seat higher) and do a baseless install on the outboard position. again, dont know if that would really work but worth a try?
