RFing belt path?

Are there any seats that have a FFing belt path where you usually find the RFing path?

I noticed my friend's seat looks like the belt is going through the wrong path. I'm trying to decide how to bring it up. I think it was some sort of Evenflo seat... but I only saw it from the side. It is a convertible seat. I'm trying to decide how to bring it up w/o seeming like a know-it-all.

I don't know but my SIL had my nephews seat in like that once. She has her 11 and 14 year olds buckle it in for her all the time. This was maybe three years ago though, so they were much younger. I told my dh and he said something to her. Next time we saw her it was routed through the correct path. She still has her kids install it though. I guess I should teach them how to correctly install car seats when they are over this summer.:D

No, and Judi posted crash tests of it once and the results were catastrophically bad. See if you can find a nice way to bring it up :/.

Thanks! I know I should bring it up. We are meeting them for dinner tonight.... I'll try to be tactful and gentle.

Just to update. I mentioned the seat issue to the husband and he was totally receptive. He's going to reinstall the seat tomorrow:).

 I wouldn't think it would be that bad, if the tether was used. In fact, I saw an Australian study that looked at precisely that misuse and they found good results (again, with top tether). Of course, that was with Australian seats, which can be very different than our seats.
