When to order the carseat?

So, we decided on a CCO for DH's car, and either a CCO or RN for my car for Alaina who is due in August.

When should I order them?

If you want to wait for the new ones I'd order the RN now and then order one of the new ones as soon as they come out, but that way you have something for your baby already.

If you want one of the current ones, then I'd order it at any time. They have a seven year lifespan, so there's no concern about your baby outgrowing it before it expires.

Are the new ones coming in September? Do you think they will offer the tech discount on them?

We do have a TF we could use in DH's car until I got a CCO.

I don't know about Combi, but on the other tech discount I've heard of, it's just a percentage off or a price at which the seats are set. It's not a sale or a short term thing. So I would suspect that yes, they would offer the discount. Remember, they want techs owning their seats. We do them a huge favor by pulling up preparing to check someone's seat with a Combi or a Learning Curve in our backseat. Because what could be more safe than buying what the tech-who-you-just-trusted-your-child's-life-to owns?
