question about 3 across

I was wondering if anyone had attempted a 3across in a 2000 Ford Focus zx3, we're thinking of buying one but i wanted something that we could fit all 3 in just in case, you know?

i have 2 radians (1-65,1-80SL) and 1 Britax Frontier that would be used. The ford focus does have latch and lap/shoulder belts in all positions.

I seriously doubt that you'll be able to get 2 Radians and a Frontier in that vehicle. I have a 2003 Focus wagon, which has 1.75" more rear hip room, and can barely get two Radians and a KeyFit, which is markedly narrower than a Frontier. :twocents:

what are the ages/weight of the 3 kids? Because if this is a "just in case" and not a day-to-day setup, and one of the kids is at least 35 lbs. and around 4YO, you could definitely fit a RideSafer Travel Vest between two Radians

thanks, we looked at the car today and there didnt look to be enough so i didnt even try. Does anyone know about a 2003 Galant? Measurement wise it will work but we all know in real life its different. going to try in the morning but we hope it works.
my girls are 3, 28, 33lbs and son is 18mo 31lbs so no safe rider vest.
