And he is in a trufit! This is the first time I have seen one IRL  He turned one in October, and I know through Christmas he was still in his Keyfit 30, but I didnt know if it was because he still fit, and they didnt want to buy another seat yet, or if they were going to ERF. I did notice that he was always properly buckled, chestclip placed correctly, etc.

Today I was parked beside them when I picked up the girls (I had a test today) and noticed he now had a RF Trufit. Dad was talking to me because I have been in this boys classroom for a lot lately, so I got a good look, and then he was fighting getting in the seat, so I talked to him and mom a minute too. I tried not to be dorky and ask them about the seat. I just said he looked comfy and I was glad to see him safe in the car. Mom commented the girls for buckling themselves in, too.

That's wonderful!! I wish I'd see more of that at my dd's school. There are at least 5 toddler age siblings and the only one's still rfing are my ds (2) and me dn(2y9m). The other three just turned one in the last few months and were all turned ff right away. I left some info on car seats that say to rf as long as possible or at least until age 2, harness until they outgrow their seat or at least age 4 and booster until they are 4 foot 9 inches. I haven't looked to see if anyone took any yet.

That is wonderful. I occasionally see empty convertibles RFing, on indeterminate slots so I can't see if it is ERF, but never get to talk to other parents who actually do it!
