How old do you think this seat may be?

It is a dorel 3-1 seat. I could not find a do not use after date. The harness was rather brittle. Also I am not sure if this was orginal to the seat but it has puzzle buckle. That is the only strange thing on the seat. It did have a tether system.

The child had outgrown by weight mom still had her in the harness bc she is hyper, with the seat belt over the top. I ended up lending her my true fit.

She is wanting to use this seat with her baby due in Augest. I was able to talk her out of it based on the fit of my three month old neice in my 2007 3-1

So what do you think of the age. She is willing to chuck it if needed

Could it be an Intera??

It was a 3-in-1, and it sat in a "base" which could be removed and also used as a backless booster. It had a puzzle buckle.

No not that one. I am going to look at the pictorial and see if I can find anything. It also had the removable base. I think the puzzle buckle may have been a trade off another seat. Friends mom had bought it at a yard sale when her now four year old was 6 months old.

3 in 1 seat did hae puzzle buckles. I know they did in 2002, when I started at Burlington. I thought those were replaced in about 2004?

Ok. She did not want to get rid of it if it was not "expired" the fact that is was an unknown history was fine. What ever. She will allow me to destroy it now.

I agree, it's gotta be like pre-2004, because I was playing with carseats between 200-2004 while we waited to overcome infertilty, ,an by the tyime we finally got to have a baby iun 2004, the puzzle buckles were no longer available....I had HATED them, so was sure to check all the seats to make sure we didn't get one.
