This pertain to the Sony TV SXRD XBR(series) 50" and 60".
I just got off the phone with the lawyer in New York City, and DH and I are now part of advocation of the Class Action Lawsuit. This is very disappointing to me, because we usually buy all Sony Products. It is a very detailed and very LONG story, but if anyone has this TV here is the info links.

I do have a copy of the amended complaint if anyone is interested. Please PM me if you or anyone you know has this tv, regardless of if they are experiencing this issue!
Also, if any of you are pursing purchasing this TV please beware of this unresolved issue. This only pertains to the XBR series.
DH and I are devistated to find out our several thousands of dollar TV is now junk..... The "Green Glob", as it is fondly referred to, is overtaking our screen and is not repairable. Our TV is exactly a year old.
Darren, I hope it is ok to post this, if not I will understand if it has been deleted...
