How long to get the seat back from Britax?

For those of you who have returned a seat to Britax, how long did it take to get it back?

I returned the DC two weeks ago today (Weds). I know from the UPS tracking that it got there in two days (so on a Friday). But I still don't have it back.

I'm going to call tomorrow, but it takes so long to get through to them.

Does it seem like I should have it back by now?

Are they repairing or replacing?

When I sent a RA in to have it repaired, I had it back within a week I think. When I called and asked for my seats to be replaced, I had the new ones in a few days (before even sending the old ones back).

I'd call. Call AT 8:30 in the morning if possible, you should get through okay then.

I called at 8:30 this morning (thanks for that tip). Apparently the seat was not fixable. So, they put in an order for a new one, but it was out of stock. OF COURSE it was out of stock. They don't make that pattern anymore. It would have been nice if they had bothered to call me.

But, we are getting a new one. Wish I'd sent it in without the cover, since I'm not in love with the new patterns.

It should get here by the end of next week.

When I sent my MA in to have the base replaced, I kept my cover :D. I told William (does he still work there? I know a lot of people were getting him about a year ago lol) that I was sending it in coverless and he was ok with that. I sent mine off via UPS on a Thursday and no joke, had it back on Tuesday with a brand new base. They were fast. Hope you get your cover back along with your new seat!

maybe you could ask them to switch the covers or send yours back along with it? tell them its not your fault they decided to discontinue such an addorable print lol!!(this can work with any print, since I dont know which you had to start with lol!)

I did ask for the old cover back, but since it has been a week since they condemned it, the cover is gone along with the seat. Did I add that they didn't call me? I should have sent it in coverless, but too late now.

The woman I talked to (whose name I didn't catch) was very nice.

I picked the Tiffany pattern, which I'm not in love with. But I didn't want a black carseat (onyx), and our car interior is grey, so the brown (sahara and cappucino) are out.

At least we should get a newer seat.
