Twisted seat belt/backwards male end of seat belt

Yesterday morning I realized something funky was going on with one of my seat belts in the back seat. At first I thought the belt was just twisted but upon further inspection I realized that the male end of the seat belt is facing the wrong and the seat belt gets twisted when you try to buckle it. I pulled the seat belt out all the way and it came out straight and it seemed like the webbing itself was all straight, just the buckle on the wrong way.

I can't remember if this has always been like this or maybe it got turned around some how. I also meant to check the passenger rear seat belt to make sure that one was fine but I forgot

I took some pictures today but they aren't that great (I meant to take more but then got home too late) but I did try to lighten them up a bit.

This is how the seat belt lays against the back seat

I didn't really mess around with it because I didn't want to mess up the seat belt. I am wondering if I should try and fold the seat belt so I can flip the male end of the buckle around to be correct and so the seat belt won't be twisted when in use. If for any reason I can't get that end of the buckle turned around should I take it to the dealership?

It's hard to see in the pictures. But if the belt itself is correct, go ahead and work on turning the buckle around. That's a fairly common thing to happen.

Thank you to both of you. The belt itself does seem to be correct it is just the buckle that is the issue.

Does anyone have any tricks for getting it turned back around? I was messing with it a little bit today and it seems like it may be tricky because there isn't much room to work with when trying to turn the buckle.
