Hi,
We are nearly decided on buying a 2010 Kia Sedona LX. There was only one thing that gave me some pause during the test drive: The seatbelt for the center seat in the third row.
Where it came out of the ceiling felt too far forward to be safe - like it didn't pull back on my shoulder/collar or chest (I'm 5'6"). It was kind of out in front and felt very insecure. If I just leaned left (it comes down from the ceiling on the left then crosses down across your torso to your right hip) I would be out of the shoulder strap.
Can you install a FF seat in that position? (I suspect RF would work cause of how the belt needs to wrap around anyway). Even if you can install a FF seat there safely, is it safe for someone who doesn't sit in a carseat (ie. adult)? Am I just being neurotic?
I just tried out my friend's Odyssey and the center third row belt comes across my chest in a much more secure feeling way.
Thank you!
