I am in shock. The did a new crash tests on a popular car seats- chicco , emmalijunga etc. the harness from the chicco ripped from the car seat,Renolux 360 didn't even stay in the seat of the car and the Emmaljunga First Class separated from the base(infant car seat). That is scary.

renolux and emmalijunga [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pv58WrT0W8c&feature=player_embedded"]YouTube- Fotelik Emmaljunga First Class i fotelik Renolux 360st. obrotowy - testy zderzeniowe[/ame]

the scary part is that chicco doesn't want to recall this car seat and the law allows them to keep it on the market because in other test they did ok

here is the list of the car seats that are dangerous and did really bed in the crash test

What test was this? What standard?

Without more information, it doesn't really scare me. For all I know, it's the equivalent of testing an American or Canadian seat at 60 mph. It's more than what the standard calls for. While I don't like to see any seat fail so spectacularly, I'll reserve judgement.

Sled test frontal impact at 39 mph? I don't like the look of a spectacular FAIL either, but that's HUGELY fast. That's the equivalent of two vehicles running head on into each other with no brakes....this sort of accident almost never occurs in the real world. Someone hits another car at an off-set angle, one or both parties applies brakes prior to the crash, a car hits a tree or a telephone pole, etc.

The crash forces in that sort of crash will result in severe injuries and probably fatalities, no matter how perfectly everyone is restrained.
