Britax speculation

so, it seems like Britax is still trying to keep the lid on any new seat specs. However, I saw a picture of a Britax stroller they had at ABC called the B Ready and wanted more info. Plugging that into google brought up a trademark site. In the list of Britax Trademarks is a new one called "Safecell Technology" in regard to child safety seats.

Anyone want to make a guess what it will be?

Also on the list? strollers called the B Scene and B Nimble. :)

LOL!

I wonder if they will still Bexpensive for the longevity of the seat compared to how long other seats last that cost less...

The first thing a "cell" makes me think of is an infant seat. Or possibly technology like the CA or Advocate in sections they call "cells". (I'm thinking air filled cells like a honeycomb for some reason.)

This is making me dizzy. I hate the B names. Stupid. THey should ask us to name their stuff. We could come up with something fabulous.

I think it has more to do with side impact protection, like the CA, but yeah, the B names are, um, special. I think they should name them all in text speak.

I know I'm new to this, but I am amazed by how quickly new seats seem to be coming out. Or maybe it is the lack of notice, like less than two months for the new Frontier 85, announced two weeks after I bought our GN. Not that it necessarily would have changed my purchase, but I don't know when it's okay to buy something because something else will come out.

didn't they have a "name our stroller" thing on their facebook? They were giving away Blink strollers last fall (October?) and had a different question every week. IIRC, one of them was about naming strollers.

eta: this is what I was thinking about - http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=184687798101. I don't want to go back 6 months, but I wonder if anyone suggested the B ___ naming convention.

Buy what you need when you need it. Sometimes new seats show up with little notice; sometimes promised seats hit six-month delays. And sometimes new seats don't live up to their hype. If you need a new seat, buy what fits your child and your car.

I'd change each sometimes to usually...

Take it from somebody that used to buy almost every new seat that came out on the market.
