Hi I am new here and as you can tell by the siggy, not new to forums.



Also I was wanting advice on car seats, we car limited car space so I am looking for a maxi cosi priori.

But please tempt me and sell me on the other seats that will work with a short back seat.

I would like a seat in girly colors.

In general, I tend to recommend any of the Sunshine Kids Radian models (they rear-face to 40 or 45 pounds depending on the model), the Graco My Ride (rear-faces to 40 pounds), and the Safety 1st Complete Air (rear-faces to 40 pounds) as my top picks for parents to look into for convertible car seats. These seats should last most kids until 3 or 4 years old rear-facing. The Radians and the My Ride are available in "girly" patterns, though I'm not sure about the Complete Air. I don't know how they'd work in your truck, but hopefully, someone will be along with more seat suggestions for you or some specific info about seats that work for your truck.

You also might want to start a post with a title something like "Convertible recommendations for (model year) Chevy Silverado for a 10 month old" in the main Car Seats forum to be able to draw attention to your post. I think you might get more responses that way or maybe some responses that are tailored for your particular truck. :)
