Seat Recommendations

DD1 is 3.5 yo, 25 lbs and FF in a Britax Boulevard.
DD2 is 10 mo, 17-18 lbs and RF in a SafeSeat.

We need a new seat for DD2 as she's almost at the height limit of the SafeSeat. Is the Britax Boulevard still one of the best out there? Would you recommend getting a new convertible for DD2 (another Britax Boulevard or is there something else that's recommended nowadays?) or should we get a new seat for DD1 and give DD2 the Britax?

I would probably get a nautilus or frontier for dd1 and pass down the blvd until it's outgrown or expired.

I agree with the above poster, get a designated forward facing seat for your older child and pass down the Britax.

I wouldn't get a Frontier for a 25 pounder. The Maestro or Nautilus would be more than enough if you're going to keep her forward facing.

Just know that the height limit for the infant seat is when there's less than 1" of hard shell above the head. Not the 30" or whatever mentioned. Same with the Boulevard. 1" from the top of the hard shell (not the headrest), or 35 pounds.
