Question Can I see your big kid in a Radian?

this was pretty much the end of the radian usage with her, we booster'd her about a month later, she was 6 and like 8 months here.
I don't think I would recommend it for a 7.5 year old... unless she was super tiny itty bitty for her age.

Can I ask if there is a particular reason you're choosing a convertible for a 7.5yo?

It actually isnt for my 7.5 year old :) I begin sitting for a family next month and I would like it for one of the girls. She is only 3 now, but I wanted to see what it would look like as she grows. And she is on the tall size.

I scored a great deal on a Radian65 here a few days ago. Phillip is only 33 lbs and still RF in his Marathon, but he is about to out grow that and I read that the Marathon is crap for forward facing (right?) so he *may* go in that Radian (although I doubt I could get him RF in my car in it from what I have seen in pics).

I will try to get a photo of my son (7years, 8months) in his tomorrow for you. He is just about out grown it.:( He prefers his Regent and rides in that 90% of the time, we have both installed in our van.

My very tall and long torsoed just-turned-4-year-old daughter is JUST at the top slots in recline mode. She won't be comfortable in it for much longer, I think, as she is about to have another growth spurt. But she's always been 97th %tile or taller for her age, and has a long-ish torso to boot.
