Luggage Cart for Car Seat and Air Travel

I will be traveling by myself with my 2 year old in June. I was going to get a Go Go Kidz Travelmate but find that it is a pain in the but to use.

I found [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Magna-Cart-Personal-Hand-Truck/dp/B000HVVSDU/ref=tag_dpp_lp_edpp_ttl_in"]this[/ame] luggage cart on Amazon and was hoping from input from ya'll. I will be taking my Nautilus or Symphony65 with as my Radian doesn't fit well in the vehicles we will be in while up north - I am also wondering about which seat would be easiest to install on a plane...any input?

Are you bringing a rolly bag? If you are I'd just bungee it to that. Thats what I used to do with my TF and it worked great. I would pull the rolly bag with the carseat strapped to it, and a carry-on on top, and ds would walk and pull his bag of 'stuff to keep him entertained'. I dont like to check in bags, and that way I could carry everything on my own.

I'm checking 1 large suitcase and only taking a small bag with the essentials that I will need for travel on with us, this is what I usually do as it seems to work best for us so no rolling bag to carry on.

I am 99% sure that I will just take the Nautilus - seems as though it will fit better on a luggage cart than the Symphony and would probably be easier to install on the plane as well. As much as I would love to keep her rear facing while in the car on this trip its not a huge deal as she is over 2 and we are going to a very rural area and won't be in the car much at all.

Does anyone have experience with the Nautilus on a plane - any tips for install?

We just got back from a trip using a light-weight Samsonite foldable luggage cart with 'built-in' elastic cord for securing and our Radian XT. Built-in cord works well so there would be less detached things to get lost, kwim?

There are many similar metal luggage carts, but this is the idea

With a Radian XT and a heavy backpack

Same set up but sometimes she wanted to sit so off the backpack and she sat for a while. I wheeled her around like that for a bit though gingerly and slowly so I didn't have to worry about the seat falling (for example if we were rushed or had to run)

It's strong enough for 2 MAs, 2 RAs, etc.

And it's durable enough for when our older kids were little. We travelled at least 2-3 times a year with 2 carseats on it and for about 5 yrs or so.

I don't have experience with the Symphony or Nautilus but thought to chime about the cart.

I have the exact Magna cart you linked. I bought it at Costco in Canada for $25ish. It seems very sturdy and easy to open and fold. I have put the Radian and Scenera on it and it seems to hold it well. I have a picture I still need to upload on my camera. I'll post it later if I get the chance :)
