Combi CENTER XT
A friend of mine ordered a Combi infant seat at walmart.com When it arrived, she discovered that not only was the seat 4 years old, but it was the above recalled seat!
She contacted walmart via the phone and questioned them, asking if they knew they were selling a recalled seat. Apparently the c/s rep indicated that they knew that it was, and after passing her around from one rep to another for 20 min. my friend ended up getting disconnected.
I was livid that walmart would do something like this. I know they sell a lot of lower quality brand name stuff to save money and keep their prices low, but this is just wrong! My friend is considering contacting the CPSC and informing them of this gross and dangerous negligent practice. Has anyone else had any issues w/ walmart in the past?
