Well, when I put my zip in, no results. It said I could do something with special needs in Indianapolis!

Do you have your work zip or home zip listed? I put my work zip and I cam right up. Depends on what info you put in.

I wish that site could tell you the closest CPST to a given zip code. Instead it's either yes (with a list of those in the zip) or no. If there's one in the neighboring zip code you won't get it unless you use the zip code range search, and really, who knows the range of zip codes within 20 minutes of their own? The closest CPST isn't necessarily the one whose zip code is closest to your own.

I googled to find the range of zip codes in my city. It does seem like you should be able to search "within 20 miles" or whatever of any given zip. There are none in *my* zip, despite the fact that I live in a large metropolitan area, but there are quite a few in the city and surrounding areas.

I use the site linked. The only information I put in is the state. If you have a lot of techs in your state, you'll get a long list, which is better than no list at all.

Thanks, I put in just the state and got a big list. My name is the only one unconnected with a business that I noticed. Also, for some reason, my zip isn't on there, which is why I didn't come up when I put in my zip.

Still, now look at the web address. You can't just tell a parent go to 'that big long thing.' Why can't it just be something simple?

A good point. You can now access it by going to http://tinyurl.com/cpstsearch . :)

It's a different listing, stations instead of individual people. However, it allows for a radius search.
