Are the covers interchangeable between the XTSL and just the XT? For instance.. if I bought a new XTSL with the 45# RF limit and an older Malibu XT with the 35# RF limit.. could I switch the covers so my ERF'er could have the pink one? :)

Sort of. The snaps that attach them to the shell may be different. It will fit, but possibly not snap. Here's a thread about it - http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=113877

But note that the regular XT can rf to 40 lbs. Sunshine kids made it retroactive for all seats made 09/08 and later, which includes all XTs. Here's the news release - http://www.skjp.com/news_detail.php?cat=press&cid=1665

I can't tell from your siggy which is your ERFer, but if under 40 lbs you won't need to switch covers.

Oh, thanks. I knew some of them were changed to 40 but wasn't sure which. DD is my only RFer, don't have a seat that can RF past 35 at the moment, although when I get the Radian I'm pondering flipping one of the boys back around as well. :)
