Success! (pic heavy)

I finally decided to be unlazy and try a Malibu Radian XT cover on my Radian 65SL. Tight fit, but it did fit. The original granite cover goes on a whole lot easier, I had to really stretch out the elastic on the sides to make the Malibu cover fit all the way over the bottom sides. The top bubbles out a bit, but I don't think I would mind, especially if I was using the body insert for a head pillow.

Question: How do the XT covers connect to the Radian? My Granite has the pins and holes to connect to the bottom and then snaps to connect inside the seat (first pic). The Malibu cover doesn't have pin holes or snaps.

Here are some pics:

i noticed that when i put a new petal cover on my xtsl that used to be a flora seat. there were no holes for the black plugs so i left them off. i thought about poking new holes but i didnt because them dang things are tough to get off. so far so good i put dd2 in her seat because shes only 6 months but havent had sliding or sagging of the cover because i didnt use them.
also i did see someone on here post to use the safe stop to pull the plugs out and let me say THAT IS THE BEST TIP EVER!!!! it use to take me like 30 minutes to get them off before, and now its like 10 seconds using that tip!

TOTALLY AGREE! I didn't have the safestop so I used the splitter plate, but yeah 10 seconds for both. Now if there could only be a useful tip on getting the straps back on the splitter plate, seriously 10 minutes .

i find that if i fold the second stap i put on just a bit it slides on easier. then i straighten it out after i get it over the hook. still takes a while but at least i dont break all my dang nails off doing it.
